Create your Personal Metadata Universe

What you note down in your journal is unique based on your nature, interest, approach, bias etc. The information collected over time for a situation can have a pattern which can be abstracted to a metadata template. The template can be used to collect data and analyzed when in similar situation. Come up with templates for different contexts and situations to create your personal universe of metadata a.k.a Personal-Metaverse.

What is Metadata? It is data about data. In a spreadsheet of data, the column headers are metadata. They say what the data is about. Categories, tags and column headers are some examples of metadata we see everyday.

You can also first write a journal without metadata and then note down the metadata for it. This template can be then be reused in another instance for similar situation. This data so collected and analyzed can bring out insightful information on your personal preferences.
